Villagers

Villagers have been completely reimagined with designs inspired by classical civilizations and cultures that flourished across Europe and the Middle East in antiquity. Some villagers hail from the remote jungles and swamps beyond the borders of the known world. Each profession now features a new outfit—familiar, yet deeply rooted in the ancient setting.

Friendly Mobs

Throughout your journey, you’ll encounter familiar allies dressed for the ancient era. The Wandering Trader, Iron Golem, and others have been given appearances fitting a world of myth and empire.

Hostile Mobs

Not all forces in antiquity were civilized. The Illagers now resemble fierce and untamed groups inspired by the so-called “barbarian” cultures from the far north of Europe. Be wary when you hear their war cries.

Armor and Weapons

Armor has been overhauled to reflect the look of authentic Roman gear. Chestplates and helmets resemble the famous Lorica Segmentata and Galea worn by legionaries, while swords have been redesigned as shorter, efficient Roman Gladii.
